FX Analyst

GREAT opportunity to work as an FX Analyst for leading Asset Servicing house based in the City of London.

My client is a leading Asset Servicing company who were established in 1989 and have become one of the most successful Asset Servicing houses in the City. The team have grown considerably over the past 2 years and as such are looking to hire an additional headcount to help grow/ develop the business.

This is a newly created role that sits within the FX Sales Support team who are responsible for planning/ analysing/ reporting within the team.

Further duties of the FX Analyst will include:

-Creating and preparing PowerPoint presentations for Asset Servicing/ Custody clients (this is an integral part of the role)
-Maintaining excellent working relationships with Sales Teams, Relationship Managers and Asset Servicing clients on all levels
-Planning and analysis of FX requirements by the sales team and dealing with client queries on an on-going basis
-Manipulating data using Excel and preparing/ sending out reports to deadlines
-Supporting Relationship Managers with client requests daily
-Maintaining accurate business flows as required by the team
-Ad-hoc tasks/ project work which arise within the team

The successful FX Analyst will have the following skills and competencies

-It is ESSENTIAL that you have solid/ proven experience of using PowerPoint to create/ prepare presentations in your previous role
-It is ESSENTIAL that you have worked within Financial Services, ideally within an Asset Servicing/ Global Custody environment (although this is not essential)
-You will have a good understanding OR working knowledge of FX/ Asset Servicing
-It is ESSENTIAL that you have a can-do attitude and that you are keen to learn new skills/ engage with people on all levels
