FX Core Java Developer – Investment Bank – c£70k recruitment
Global Investment Bank seeking an exceptional Java Developer, who boasts expertise in multithreaded, concurrent Java programming and FX experience.
This successful development team are responsible for implementing high performance, low-latency electronic FX trading systems. The successful candidate will work on the delivery of new, bespoke systems, whilst enhancing the existing systems within FX.
Sitting directly on the trade floor, this team work alongside the FX traders, where they develop extensive knowledge of FX and FX Options. From gathering requirements directly from the traders, the successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, working in an agile methodology.
Skills Required:
- Financial/Banking Experience
- Java Development - J2SE, Multithreading, Concurrency
- Java Swing desirable
- Sybase
- Development of real-time, high-volume, low-latency applications
Ideally this candidate will currently be working in the Front Office, with knowledge of FX. They will hold strong mathematic, quantitative skills, and will have experience working with quant analysts.
