FX Emerging Markets Analyst recruitment
Maintain and develop data sources for FX trading practices and translate BBH expertise into client facing information products.
The Emerging Market Analyst will help BBH and its clients navigate complexities of trading Foreign Exchange in emerging markets. Through research and analysis of local market practices and by leveraging BBH’s current knowledge and trading practices, this individual will create, manage and maintain innovative information products that showcase BBH’s global market expertise. This job will be responsible keeping abreast of market trends and will help to identify and prioritize market development opportunities based on business cases. The analyst will collaborate with Treasury, Network, Operations and Trading functions to ensure information remains current and highly insightful.
-Maintain and develop data sources for FX trading practices and translate BBH expertise into client facing information products.
-Design, create, and maintain detailed FX trading guides, including client case studies that highlight innovative trading solutions in restricted markets.
-Integrate market information and trading guides with existing currency and economic research sourced from FX strategy desk.
-Drive enhancements to information products as determined from client commentary on product quality or observations on repetitive inquiries. Assist with research and development of new products to fill identified gaps in our suite of informational products.
-Continually expand understanding of industry concepts and market practices through responses to client queries, participation in departmental projects, and regular interaction with Operations, Treasury, Network and Trading functions.
-Recommend product and process enhancements to improve quality and productivity.
-Ensure consistent editing standards across all products for grammatical accuracy, consistency of information and formatting, etc
-Use information from BBH FX relationship managers and FX clients to understand emerging market trading needs and changes in local market practices.
- Research and respond to queries from global client base in coordination with FX Sales Traders.
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-5 plus years work experience
-Experience in of foreign exchange trading, foreign exchange operations, treasury operations, international banking, and/or global custody
-Research, writing and editing skills to a high standard.
-Written and oral communication skills
-Analytical and diplomacy skills
-Experience with web portal design; proficiency with traditional and web contact management and publishing tools
