FX Front Office Application Support

 

 

SH provides consultancy and consultants to investment banks. A major client requires an FX Front Office Support Analyst 

 

Application Production Support Electronic Markets is a global team providing services directly to the global FX, Rates, eCommerce and Credit businesses within the Fixed Income group.

The team is concerned with the production support of the associated Sales Trading Tools. The systems are used globally, with Support Teams based in London, New York Singapore. 

The FX Support team handles connections to FX markets (Reuters, EBS, FXall, Currenex, 360T …)

A mix of internal and vendor solutions is used.

RFQ and Streaming based systems are concerned.

All components to connect to these markets and price requests from clients (automatically or manually) as well as passing information to booking and risk management systems are developed.

 

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

and fits within a global support organisation with other teams based in New York, Tokyo and Singapore.

Useful technology:

Functional understanding of: TCP/IP, TIBCO RV, MQ, C++, Java, C#/.NET, HTTP

Scripting

SQL

Windows UNIX

Market Data mechanisms

 

Language Required:

English fluent

 

Note:

Although an obvious advantage, previous experience in supporting electronic trading systems is not mandatory.
