FX Institutional Sales – Hong Kong
Global non-Asian Investment Bank based in Hong Kong is looking to add a Director level sales person to their FX Sales desk. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience selling FX products to institutions (Hedge funds/ Asset managers) located in Asia. The candidate must have a transferable book of business of institutional clients and be able to start generating revenue almost immediately.
The focus of the role will be to contribute to and increase the number of active investors (institutional clients - Hedge Funds/ Asset Managers) to whom the bank distributes FX products. This role will have a broad mandate allowing flexibility with constructing FX products that the institutional client base demands. This bank has global reach and a very strong presence.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- A minimum of 7 years on a FX sales desk at a bank ( with a focus on sales to institutional clients )
- Products knowledge: FX – Spot, Options, Swaps, Futures (All FX)
- Clients: Institutions in Asia
- Maintenance of the existing institutional client base and acquisition of new institutional clients in the Asian market.
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas
- Very good revenue generation figures and track record
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
