FX Options Financial Control recruitment
A global investment bank is currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to join their FX Options Financial Control team. This challenging role requires an experienced product or financial controller with sound business knowledge to support a derivatives environment. The individual will need to be innovative and contribute to the implementation of the control infrastructure necessary to support a global derivatives business.
The key responsibilities of the role will be to reconcile the PL and Balance Sheet, substantiate the FXO books and records, produce the FXO Month End report and improve current processes. The role holder will also be expected to provide cover across the FX and FXO Financial Control teams where needed.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have a minimum of 2 years experience of product or financial control. This candidate will also require a knowledge of Back Office and General Ledger systems for derivatives and be expected to have had some prior exposure to FX Options. Systems wise the role holder will need to have at a minimum intermediate level Access and Excel.
