FX options Quantitative Developer- Electronic trading

 

A leading investment bank is currently looking to add a VP/Director to their Electronic trading business in London.

The bank is looking for an experienced individual with the majority of their career being spent in the options space with the knowledge and ability to set up an active pricing business for the options space.

You should have some management/leadership experience as within this role you will be urged to showing strong leadership by providing direction to the supporting quants/IT groups in addition to supporting sales.

 

The ideal candidate will have:-

 

-          Wide-ranging experience in all aspects of FX Option Quant Development for an FX Option trading businesses.

-          Developed a number of FX trading and Risk Management tools for the FX Option desks.

-          Experience of maintaining and delivering a wide variety of FX Option products

-          Experience making modifications to FX options market-making

-          Worked closely with the traders to fix the pricing tool problems.

 

 

You role will involved assisting in the development of this FX options electronic trading group therefore applicants who have contributed significantly to the developing and maintaining of internal trading systems will be at an advantage.

 

 This is the ideal role for an experienced FX Options quant developer who is looking for a role which is more desk and business focussed.

 

Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working with the sales team in order to assist on the products side.

Applicants should be proficient in C++/VBA however this role does not focus heavily on coding.
