Our client is seeking a FX Options Settlements Professional for their Newark, Delaware client. Derivatives and Currency Operations are split between their Bournemouth, Mumbai, Singapore and Delaware offices. They are currently expanding the roles in the Delaware team and as a result are looking for a number of Settlements professionals. The Delaware team will provide comprehensive operational services to the Investment Bank's business across the globe, for FX and FX Options trading products. The department is very fast moving, with ever increasing volumes, there is always an opportunity to learn, increase knowledge, to take on more responsibility and where staff excellence is recognized through reward and promotion. Responsibilities: * Day to day responsibilities involve adding settlement instructions and making payments within the deadlines * Ensuring that all payments are settled correctly and in a timely manner * Identifying and investigating any root causes * Establishing an excellent relationship with Front Office sales and other internal clients * Participating in process improvement initiatives * Ensure that any issues are escalated to the team leader within an appropriate time frame
