A position has arisen in the FX Spot Order Generation team within our Global Asset Management division in London. We require an experienced professional, skilled and self–motivated who can quickly learn all aspects of Foreign Exchange.
Duties will include (and not limited to):
- Generation and authorisation of FX tickets for Equity, Bond and Emerging Market Portfolios
- Managing non deliverable spot currency for EM mandates
- Involvement in new client take on, client terminations and mandate changes
- Liaising with FX counterparty credit areas
- Daily FX tolerance checks
- Monitoring EM market changes and impact on spot FX generation
Role requirements:
- Previous relevant FX Support/Execution and Client Services experience from an Asset Management or Brokerage environment
- Self-motivated and flexible (7.30 am starts are required)
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of business communication ability - must be able to communicate confidently and clearly when dealing with investment professionals.
- Ability to prioritise, adapt and work independently on a wide variety of tasks, according to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, proactive in identifying and delivering to client needs
- Excellent MS Office skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
