FX – Product Controller recruitment

Key Accountabilities Include:

P/L Production and Control, including P/L decomposition, funding, commentary and oversight whilst maintaining relevant metrics.
Financial Control, including FOBO reconciliations, Cash reconciliations, Static maintenance, Balance sheet review and attestation on a periodic basis.
Valuation Control including valuation adjustments, Independent price validation and model suitability
Change Management including strategic, tactical and continuous improvement initiatives
Performance Management including business analysis
Proactively provide advice to the business which would cover strategic initiatives and new product approvals

Business Partnering Role Includes:

Provide superior service aligned with the business' needs and the organisation's business objectives.
Strive to continuously improve the internal customer surveys whilst aligning with the group's goal of attaining number 1 status in customer service.
Continual interaction with Front Office, Market Risk and Operations to ensure consistency and overall profitability of the Desk.
Collaboration with other product controllers whilst assuming complete finance responsibility for the FX Spot/ Sales desk.
Understands business drivers and providing genuine business valued output and analysis and interactively forms 'business partnerships' with other professionals
Actively builds relationships within and across business streams, functional areas and regions

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Accountant - CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience in the competencies outlined above, specific FX experience is desirable. Product Control experience is essential for the role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrable stakeholder management and business partnering experience
