The Role

Bloomberg FX extends the offerings of the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL service by providing a full suite of Foreign Exchange functionality including global FX news, data, analytics, electronic trading and position keeping. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced FX professional to join our expanding Team in Mumbai. Applicants should possess a deep body of knowledge and experience in the FX Markets at either a bank or a vendor. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the financial markets and a bank's FX workflow. We are looking for self-driven sales professionals with proven experience, who can provide solutions to help manage our existing client business as well as sell to new clients. Qualified candidates will have a consultative selling approach that is adaptable to all client types.

Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Sales force in furthering our FX business in India
- Manage and grow our client base by creating a pipeline of clients through prospecting, relationship management, referrals, and cross-selling
- Directly impacting sales through on-site meetings with clients and prospects where you can present unique Bloomberg solutions
- Influencing the direction of our product by providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers on user demand, market practices and product enhancements

Qualifications

- Minimum of five years of experience in the FX Market with a strong understanding of spots, forwards, futures, swaps and options
- Proven experience in high-level, complex sales with an FX sales, FX electronic sales or software sales background
- Ability to rapidly assimilate detailed knowledge of, and develop sales tactics for, a wide range of electronic trading solutions
- Understanding of a client's workflow and the foreign exchange process; strategy management, compliance, financing, trade settlement, portfolio analysis, order management and electronic trading
- Ability to identify new prospects and to build and maintain solid client relationships
- Strong understanding of the companies participating in the FX market
- Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills
- Prior experience using the Bloomberg Professional is preferred
- Must be available for domestic travel
