FX Sales to Hedge Funds /CTA?s
Leading house looking to add a senior sales person to their G10 FX Sales desk in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience selling G10 FX products to Hedge Funds / CTA’s alongside a very good product knowledge of Options and NDF’s in particular. The candidate must have a transferable book of business of Hedge Fund / CTA clients and be able to start generating revenue as soon as possible.
The focus of the role will be to contribute to and increase the number of active investors ( Hedge Funds / CTA clients ) to whom the bank distributes G10 FX products. This role will have a broad mandate allowing flexibility with constructing G10 FX products that the client base demands. This house has global reach and a very strong presence in the USA, including across the Mid-West and West-Coast.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- A minimum of 5 years on a G10 FX sales desk ( with a focus on sales to Hedge Fund / CTA clients )
- Products knowledge: G10, FX, Options, NDF’s and a strong generalist market knowledge in this space
- Clients: Hedge Funds / CTA’s in the USA
- Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in the market place
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas with regards to FX sales – Options and NDF’s in particular
- Very good revenue generation figures and track record
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
