FX Spot Trader – London recruitment

Wells Fargo's FX division is seeking a FX Spot Trader to be focusing on G10 currencies and offers the opportunity to join a growing team in London. You will be part of a larger team with full service trading desks in North America and Hong Kong. As the successful candidate you will play an integral role covering both Institutional and Corporate flows through the European time zone.

Responsibilities
The primary areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:
• Provide liquidity to our corporate and institutional client base during the European time zone.
• Help manage a global order board.
• Communicate flows, market colour and updates throughout our global team.
• Work closely with corporate/institutional sales.
• Partner with IT groups to ensure system effectiveness.
• Adhere with compliance and risk mandates.

Requirements
• Extensive experience of FX trading.
• Strong verbal/written and communication skills.
• Proven profitable track record.
• Experienced on all FX transactional platforms.
• Ability to show competitive market pricing to a sophisticated customer base.
• Significant experience in managing larger type corporate and institutional spot G10 flows.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Motivated to play an important role in driving the business forward.
• Willingness to partner with sales in marketing efforts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong market relationships throughout the region.
