FX Trade Support
Headquartered in London and one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, HSBC is looking for a FX Trade Support Analyst to join the Global Markets area.
To provide functional support for business activities ranging from trade capture to settlement for Institutional FX Sales in London.
FX Trade Support responsibilities:
- Book/Cancel Amend FX trades in PTS
- Prepare/generate/second check trade recaps for all FX and FXO trades and email to client
- Book Post Trade Allocations into Primary Trading System for FX and FXO
- Cancelling BLOCK trades in PTS
- Raise GCOS requests to on-board new funds and amendments to existing client/funds
- Raise requests for mapping of new and existing funds (static data) in-house PTS and vendor builds with eClient Services and FX IT teams
- Liaise with regional HUB’s to update existing and new static data in supporting systems
- Assist in NPV of existing deals
- Assist in FX/FXO trade novation seeking GMO permission and amendment of existing trade
- Book MM deals in PTS
- General Investigations on primary economic terms of FX and derivative trades
- Liaise between Front Office and Operations regarding management of complex investigations
- Assist with incident management tasks include incident logging, issue escalation, problem management and root cause analysis
- Review reconciliation items with various BAU’s - operations, trade control, OCRM
- Expedite any roadblock in the affirmation process of trade confirmation process for DFA requirements
- Management and reconciliation of Trade Give-up confirmations in Harmony
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Trading and Operations
- Understand and ensure compliance with a control and regulatory mindset
- Ability to adapt to different trading systems
FX Trade Support Skills required:
- FX and Global Markets knowledge preferable
- Understanding of Front to Back trade flow
- Ability to pick up new processes quickly
- Lateral thinking to identify improvements in processes
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise
- Able to work effectively with minimal oversight
