Our client is a leading tier 1 Multinational bank. Headquartered Europe, our client has a strong Asia presence. They have outlined a requirement to strengthen their management team with a Head of FXMM Operations IT for Asia Pacific
Reporting to the MD, the successful candidate will work closely with APAC based stakeholders from IB WM Streams. The incumbent will provide management leadership of the APAC resources including Development, Level 3 Support and Quality Assurance teams. Other responsibilities will include:
- Defining and delivering an IT strategy for FXMM applications in the APAC region.
- Represent the local APAC change requirements into the global change process
- Provide a competent, respected and effective escalation point for APAC related issues.
- Build strong relationships with the local stakeholders (both IB and WM) and the local IT teams including Production Services and IT Delivery units in the post trade area of both the IB and WM
- Improve the quality of the IT deliveries, the stability of production environment, and the efficiency of the FXMM Ops IT resources
- Build a delivery capability in the APAC region based on a Scrum/Agile delivery model
To qualify individuals must possess:
- 12+ years of financial domain experience, preferably with an Asset/Fund/Wealth Manager
- Computer Science (or equivalent) Degree with strong technical understanding
- Expert understanding of Foreign Exchange Money Market processes and workflows in a Post trade (settlements clearing) environment
- Strong and demonstrable experiences with full SDLC
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience, preferably in a complex MNC Matrix environment
