Gas and Power Controller
The Gas and Power Controller will partner with the Front Office, Operations and Market Risk in order to provide both accurate revenue reporting and service to the business.
The Gas and Power Controller will be expected to assist with the supervision of and management of the team responsible for production of the Daily PL Month-end processes, including
* Understand the Businesses supported, the strategies, products and inherent risks
* Understand the Risk Reporting Systems, identifying opportunities to enhance the Control Environment, Standardisation, Scalability and add value
* Market Commentaries and Risk Analysis
* Month end reporting and reconciliation.
* Balance Sheet reporting and analysis
* Adhoc project management
The Gas and Power controller will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent) with experience in a product control role ideally with commodities product exposure. They must have knowledge of derivative products across asset classes, valuation and intricacies and have excellent organisational, communication and relationship management skills.
