Gas and Power Operator / Scheduler / Shift Trader recruitment
Working as part of a 24 hour shift team, you will be responsible for accurate, timely scheduling and optimal out-of-hours balancing the companies European gas and power portfolio.
You will be responsible for balancing and trading around strategies, production and generation volumes, European trading hubs, storage and interconnector operations, European balancing regimes and Power and gas contract portfolios.
To be considered for the role, you MUST possess the following:
• Knowledge of the relevant transportation contracts and license/regulatory regimes
• Experience of relevant operational aspects of the European gas and power markets, commercial understanding/appreciation of UK and continental gas and power issues
• Computer literate with well developed Excel skills and an experienced trading system user.
