Gas Trading Analyst/Junior Trader – Commodity Trading House – London – £45k + £25k Bonus recruitment
The successful Trading Analyst will work alongside traders in the Front Office, and be responsible for analytics and market research in order to price and structure deals and devise Trading Strategy for the company’s Gas Portfolio. This role will report into the Head of Analytics and provides the perfect stepping stone into a career as a Trader.
As a Trading Analyst, you will have:
- Extensive knowledge of the UK and European Gas markets, ideally gained working for an Energy Major, Trading House or Investment bank
- Experience working alongside traders, perhaps as a Market Analyst, Trading Analyst or Intraday Trader.
- Degree, preferably in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics or Economics
- Keen analytical mind and ambition to succeed within a dynamic and demanding environment
