Gas/Power Operator recruitment
This is an excellent role ideally for a Gas or Power Operator to join leading energy trading house based in London. For Gas you will be responsible for nominating, scheduling, trading and balancing the UK and Continental physical gas portfolio within operational deadlines as well as other duties listed in this job description.
For Power you will be responsible for conducting the day to day power operations activities within the power porfolio and be involved in the development and expansion into new markets across Europe and the new systems required.
The individual, ideally, should have at least one to two years work experience in the energy operations industry and a prior practical knowledge of UK and Continental gas/power operations in particular would be extremely beneficial.
Practical knowledge of the UK and Continental gas/power operations transmission systems. You will have to be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines as well as being highly numerate with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and analytical skills are also key - this is an excellent role with very strong future career development opportunities.
