GBM – Cash Equities Java Developer recruitment
Our client; a Tier 1 Global Investment Bank is currently undertaking substantial changes within their Cash Equities area – a Greenfield project to redefine the legacy OMS with new technology, structure and functionality. The Investment Bank has outlined the necessity to build and grow a high performance Java Development Team across four main locations; Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.
Reporting to the Head of Cash Equities Technology (CET) the successful candidate will be someone with solid technology skills, strong business acumen and good communication skills. Experience dealing with OMS, EMS or FIX is ideal, but not essential.
The individual must have:
- Excellent knowledge in Cash Equities within the OMS or EMS space.
- Excellent technical skills in: Java (other languages are a bonus), Oracle, Unix/ Linux and multithreading.
- Knowledge of methodologies is ideal – Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, TDD.
- Good communications skills.
- Minimum of 3 years experience within Cash Equities Development.
- Passion for new technologies.
