Client Onboarding provides comprehensive Know Your Client, New Account Opening, Client Reference Data Analysis and Services and Data Management solutions within relevant DB systems for Global Markets and Global Banking business lines.
The KYC Client Onboarding role will involve:
- To perform Client Onboarding of all new client requests or where the client is extending their existing/ current relationship with DB across multiple products supporting Global Banking
- Support Global Banking products and business lines for KYC Client Onboarding and Periodic Review
- Request and receive relevant global and country specific client KYC documentation
- Liaise with FO Relationship Managers, Business Managers, Compliance and Legal with reference to Client Documentation to expedite requests as part of the E2E workflow
- Communicate actions / issues / progress with DB Relationship Management on client documentation, issues and requests
- Review client KYC documentation to ensure client adoption adheres to both DB’s Global Compliance requirements, 3rd EU AMLD standard as well as local country specific Compliance requirements and guidelines
- Prioritize, monitor (random), manage and analyze communication content to ensure timely resolution of open issues and proactively identify trends to eliminate causes.
- Coordinate updates in SharePoint to track open client requests, new reference mappings and also counterparty creations, ensuring storage of appropriate mapping references in DB Central systems
- Coordinate and communicate actions / issues / progress with the GM and GB business line on current data initiatives
- Upload client documentation into DB’s centralized document repository systems
- Provide training to new staff within the team on the central applications used, this will also include liaising with colleagues on management programs e.g. Management Development Program (MDP)
- Generation of management MIS reports for KYC client request monitoring
- Ensure internal and external audit requirements are identified and complied with
- Update and maintenance of key operating and desktop procedures
- Provide assistance to team members when required
- Ensure Business Continuity Management functions are compliant
Requirements:
- Accuracy and attention to detail with data essential
- Strong communication skills both written and oral via various media i.e. e-mail, phone, face to face and conference calls
- Some project management experience either around process re-engineering or system enhancements an advantage
- Proven ability to be able to maintain key business partner relationships
- Understanding of key risk and control issues facing the KYC
- Ability to take a “hands-on” approach during crisis situations
- Knowledge of managing Access/Excel databases preferred
- Knowledge of managing client data programs preferred
- Ability to take a “hands-on” approach during crisis situations
- Understanding of key risk and control issues relating to Know Your Client and Client Onboarding
- Strong or expert knowledge of APAC client AML/KYC requirements involving CIP, PCR and client KYC documentation required to open a client account on Deutsche Bank’s internal systems
- Degree level with Compliance Investment Banking qualifications Experience of AML/Know-your-client (“KYC”) reviews
- Expert or strong working knowledge of client AML/KYC requirements involving CIP and PCR and client KYC documentation required
- Understanding of key risk and control issues facing KYC processes
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Proven ability to be able to maintain key client and business partner relationships both internal and external
- Ability to take a “hands-on” approach during crisis situations
- Strong client service skills, with experience of working with and providing high quality “supplier service” to product processing areas.
- Ability to meet deadlines while working with minimal management supervision and multi-tasking with strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills via various media, e-mail, phone, face to face and conference calls
- Experience of KYC management systems as well as competency in Excel, Word, (Access an advantage) and PowerPoint.
- Some project management experience either around process re-engineering or system enhancements an advantage
- Fluent English
