1. Techno-functional experience in Manufacturing IT Solutions space (Batch/Discrete/Continuous)
2. Experience in Design, Development and deployment of MES solution using GE Proficy Plant Applications preferably 5.0 or latest previous version, Proficy Workflow, Historian 3.5 for large
3. Good Communication – both written and verbal
4. Should be self motivated and good team player
5. Good analytical troubleshooting skill.
6. VB/C# .net, WCF,WPF, Sql SSRS
7. Certification in above Technologies, any of the MES Platforms would be an added advantage.
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
Understanding the functional requirements and validating if and how product supports that
Devising best configuration approach to achieve functional requirements to fully leverage the product features
Working out the approach for need of customization Vs off-the-shelf features
Designing and developing the MES solution configuration using most of the Off-the-shelf product features for different Mfg processes of CPG manufacturers
Solution architecture using PPA 5.0
Upgrading MES solution based on PPA 4.2.3 to PPA 5.x along with Proficy workflow
Utilizing best practices within product
Supporting the team of developers in configuration and customization
Training the team on PPA5.0,Workflow and Historian 3.5
