General Expenses Buyer– Intern

From September for 6 to 12 months

Location : Paris

The role is within Genex Procurement team which has 4 permanent staff.

You will give support to the sourcing expert to manage the following General Expenses domains : HR, Marketing and Facilities. You will participate to the following tasks :

•         Answering the internal client expectations

•         Participating and elaborating the specifications and contracts for project activity

•         Evaluating suppliers before the request for proposals

•         Participating and preparing the invitation to tender (RFP) and managing the follow up    tasks

•         Managing the implementation of contracts and any follow up actions

•         Evaluating products and services supplied with internal clients

•         Creating an assessment of request for proposal

•         Using e-procurement tool: updating suppliers information’s and electronic catalogue in Ariba and manage e-rfp through the e-sourcing platform.

 What sort of profile are we looking for:

•         Currently studying with a specialization in purchasing of supply chain

•         Previous related experience is an asset

•         Good level of English is required

•         Natural curiosity for the company, its trades and products

•         Communication skills at different levels and with internal and external clients

•         Listening, analysis and synthesis capacity/skills

•         Ability to work on several tasks at the same time and be able to prioritise the workload between the buyers.

•         Presentation skills for Powerpoint would be an advantage.

Duration: 1 year for apprenticeship from September 2012
