General Foreman - Electrical

Design Group is currently recruiting for a General Foreman- Electrical with one of our Fort McMurray based clients. We are seeking an energetic, careerminded professional that wants to be challenged, recognized and rewarded for their contributions and hard work. Our client provides an extensive array of services across the broad spectrum of construction. They specialize in residential, commercial and industrial projects. This opportunity is located in Fort McMurray.
The General Foreman will be responsible for overseeing a number of electrical projects. You will be working closely with the client to assess their needs, scheduling the crews, training and mentoring the apprentices and working closely with the Project Managers and Subtrades. If you have experience in an Industrial environment and meet the requirements below then we want to hear from you.
Job Requirements:
· Completion of Alberta Journeyman Certificate or hold an Electrician Red Seal Certification
· Eight years of construction experience (Industrial) with at least three years in a Project or Leadership Role
· Proficient in MS Office and other related computer software
· Estimating experience with Accubid would be highly desirable
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of Building Code, CSA Standards and other related Safety Codes
