The Position
The primary function for this position is to balance the daily activity of the Credit Union, compile the appropriate journal vouchers to post activity, research discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments. This person will reconcile, research and clear outstanding items in assigned General Ledger asset, liability and equity accounts. This person will also assist our service centers and internal departments to correct outages or open items which affect the General Ledger accounts.
This position will provide support to all positions within the Accounting Department during high work volume periods, absences and vacations, assuring that operational efficiency. This person will also participate in the training of new employees, and cross-training of existing employees, and will also work on special projects as assigned.
