Position Description:
Finance Strategic Architecture - GL Strategy group. This is a Vice President level position with direct responsibility for managing some aspects of the General Ledger vendor package implementation (e.g. SAP, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft), including conversion from the legacy ledger to new General Ledger vendor package and the rollout of the ledger module and consolidations.

This position requires prior implementation experience, and knowledge and familiarity of ledger modules and their relationships with ancillary systems such as subledgers, information delivery/reporting tools, etc.

The General Ledger Implementation workstream, within the broader Finance Strategic Architecture program, is a multi-year effort to define, plan, and execute against the Finance Division's long term general ledger strategy. Members of the workstream work in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders across the Firm, including Technology, Operations, and other strategic Change The Bank (CTB) initiatives.

Skills Required:
1. Experience with Major ERP Vendor packages (e.g. Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP), including implementation and conversion. Must have strong understanding of industry standard ledger module configuration and functionality.

2. Strong analytical and systems implementation skills, including requirements and process analysis, detailed design, configuration, testing, and change management. Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain implementation documents.

3. Demonstrated experience as a team leader managing implementation projects.

4. Strong communication skills
-The candidate is required to work alongside global counterparts and with various stakeholder groups as well as IT groups.
-The candidate should also be a confident presenter and display excellent written oral communication.

5. Strong functional knowledge
-The candidate should have strong knowledge of Finance functions such as product control, month-end close, financial accounting, financial statement reporting, consolidations, etc.
-The candidate should have strong knowledge of the finance architecture around processes and data flows (General Ledger, subledgers, upstream data sources, reporting tools, etc.).
