Position Title: General Ledger Implementation Specialist - Chart of Accounts

Position Description:
Finance Strategic Architecture - GL Strategy group. Resource needed to integrate new Chart of Accounts as part of overall GL strategy, initially with rolling out the new design for the Chart of Accounts, then integrating the new Chart of Accounts to the new General Ledger Vendor Package (e.g. Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP).

The resource will be involved in analysis with various stakeholder groups within Finance and outside of Finance (such as Sub-ledger group, technology, etc.), and will need to have strong execution skills in order to bring the new Chart of Accounts into production. The resource will be involved in all aspects of Chart of Accounts implementation including mapping, conversion, etc.

Skills Required:
1. Experience with Major ERP Vendor packages (e.g. Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP), including implementation and conversion.
Experience with design and integration of Chart of Accounts, including mapping and conversion processes.

2. Strong analytical skills
The candidate must have close attention to detail and be able to perform detailed analysis.

3. Strong communication skills
The candidate is required to work alongside global counterparts and with various stakeholder groups as well as IT groups.
The candidate should also be a confident presenter and display excellent written oral communication.

4. Strong functional knowledge
The candidate should have experience in financial reporting and strong knowledge of various financial reporting requirements (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS).
The candidate should have general knowledge of other Finance functions such as product control, month-end close, financial accounting, financial statement reporting, etc.
The candidate should have general knowledge of the finance architecture around the processes and data flows (General Ledger, subledgers, upstream data sources, reporting tools, etc.).
