General Ledger Manager (Salt Lake City, UT) - Plan, direct, coord acctg activities for domestic int'l mining operations: Analyze fin'l info prep consolidated fin'l reports for internal use external reporting reqmts incl Statistics Canada. Prep monthly fin'l reporting package, manage progress of month end close process, perform month-end quarter-end close procedures reconciliations, prep review monthly reconciliation binders, monthly foreign exchange revaluation of non-functional currency balances supporting activities of both internal external auditors. Provide oversight for other team members work related to bank fin'l acct reconciliations fixed assets review. 5% travel time. Reqmts incl Bachs deg in Acctg or Bus. Admin w/Acctg major; 5 yrs exp in the job offered, as Accountant, or Audit Manager; demonstrated exp in all aspects of job duties must also incl compliance with Int'l Fin'l Reporting Stds, Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Stds, Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Principles, use of MXP Fin'l Suite HFM for auditing statistical reporting.
