General Manager - Environmental Services / Custodial

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager of Environmental Services for Straub Clinic and Hospital. Straub Clinic and Hospital is a 159 Acute Care hospital located in Honolulu. Straub also has 40 clinics on campus and 8 Satellite clinics throughout Oahu, 1 on the Island of Hawaii and 1 on the Island of Lanai. The Environmental Services team plays a very important role in providing a first impression to patients, visitors and employees who enter the facility. Straub has private patient rooms as well as state of the art treatment areas, all requiring the very best upkeep and care. The Environmental Services team also manages patient transport and linen management for the hospital. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of previous General Manager / Director level custodial / housekeeping experience in a high volume / high profile hospital environment; understanding of regulatory guidelines; sound knowledge of bed tacking systems and software; solid financial / budget acumen; strong analytical skills including completing ROI proposals, action plans and cost reductions; possess excellent client and customer relationship skills; the ability to train / mentor / motivate hourly staff; and to impact Patient Satisfaction Scores by engaging staff and following Sodexo's standards.
