Pita Jungle is seeking a qualified General Manager, Assistant Manager Kitchen Manager for our new San Diego restaurant, which will be located in Hillcrest. Qualified candidates should possess a High school diploma or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should be out-going, personable, and hospitable while possessing strong positive communication skills, always being committed to providing excellent high quality food and great guest service in a clean professional restaurant environment. Bilingual is a plus.
Responsibilities include all aspects of managing, expediting and cooking healthy-high quality foods. Ordering and maintaining food and labor costs, provide friendly-positive guest services and some facility management among other assigned duties. Must have the ability to effectively provide training and manage staff while consistently supervising product quality, sanitation and cleanliness practices on a day-to-day and shift-by-shift basis while upholding operating standards of but not limited to Pita Jungle's policies, procedures and operating mission statement.
Candidates must possess a high energy, professional and ethical skill set with a positive attitude while working in an exhibition atmosphere, interactive with the public. Initial training will take place in Arizona with subsequent training done on site in Hillcrest.
