General Manager- Compliance (Ref. no:GM-C/DK181111)

 As a part of their growing business in the region they are looking to hire an experience candidate from due diligence background to join them as the General Manager- Compliance for the group.

The role reporting directly to the Group’s COO will lead a team of compliance professionals and oversee the compliance functions of the group. You will be responsible for reviewing, implanting and maintaining the Group’s compliance and due diligence policies and procedure manuals according to regulatory and internal control requirements. You need to be strong at maintaining internal and external relationships and able to provide applicable internal and external compliance training. The role requires the incumbent to oversee all daily clients due diligence matters in various jurisdictions such as conducting research on due diligence information, maintaining proper records and handling enquiries from clients.

To be a successful hire, you must be a University graduate with at least 10 years relevant work experience, ideally gained from professional firms with accounting background. You will be a self-motivated individual with meticulous attention to fine details and be customer oriented. Knowledge of due diligence in different jurisdictions would be an advantage. Good written and oral communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is important.
