A nationally-recognized Consulting Services Firm specializing in Program and Construction Management and Engineering for building, utility and transportation projects is currently seeking a General Manager for its Baltimore, Maryland location.
A BS degree in Civil Engineering is a minimum requirement, an advanced degree is desirable, P.E. Registration is highly desirable.
The selected individual will be responsible for directing the business operations and service delivery of the regional unit that serves clients throughout the MidAtlantic and Northeast. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business, expanding current client relationships, ensuring service quality standards are met, and working collaboratively with other firm business units and regional offices to achieve corporate business, financial and quality performance goals.
The ideal candidate must have at least 20 years experience in the construction industry or in engineering practice and must demonstrate at least 15 years hands-on management experience in public and/or private sector projects similar to the firm’s area of practice. In addition, the candidate must possess strong leadership and communication skills and demonstrate a proven record of managing the financial and technical operations of a multi-person team or office.
