General Manager – Corporate Finance recruitment
The role
As the leading professional in a new advisory firm you will bring your existing technical expertise, regional knowledge and client contacts together to build a solid and successful niche Advisory boutique.
Job Duties:
- Assist Managing Director to establish and manage a capital firm
- Formulate and implement investment and corporate financing strategies and policies to achieve Company’s targets
- Maintain good market network and industry information to ensure the Company keep abreast of investment opportunities
- Set up and manage a highly professional team
- Supervise the type 6 regulated activity and oversee the daily operations of investment team
- Establish and maintain good relationships with government bodies, business partners, investors, the media, etc.
Job Requirements:
You will need to blend technical pedigree with an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed in this role. Experience of raising finance for companies in the APAC region will be essential. In addition you will have;
- Degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- 10 years or above experience in corporate financing from reputable institutions with at least 5 years in a leading position
- Eligible to act as Responsible Officer for Type 6 regulated activities under SFO
- Possess existing team and client base with strong network in local and international investment markets is a definite advantage
- Proven track records of leading teams to meet and exceed targets
- Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Strong leadership, excellent inter-personal skills and willing to start a business
