Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) is the outcome of the Government’s decision to consolidate the governance arrangements of its public sector and military superannuation boards. CSC is responsible for the investment and management of more than AUD23 billion, and for the superannuation of over 680,000 contributing, preserved and retired members.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will form part of the Executive Team. Your key responsibilities include the preparation of the CSC group financial statements, risk management, audit, corporate budget and accounting, and unit pricing.  You will also be actively engaged with the CSC Audit and Risk Management Committee.

You will have high level technical and management capability and experience. We seek an individual who can make a significant contribution to the overall business. As well as, working closely with and advising the Executive Team, you will also contribute specifically to business and strategic plans, product development and process improvement.

Ideally you will be a Senior Finance Executive with an established track record within a large superannuation fund or a diversified investment management organisation. It is essential that you have appropriate accounting and financial qualifications and direct practical experience relevant to the role.

This role will have particular appeal to a current CFO in the superannuation or investment sectors seeking a new challenge, or a senior person within the profession with relevant expertise seeking his or her next move.
