General Manager Key Responsibilities
Ø Lead and improve safety – manage full compliance with all EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations and requirements.
Ø Create powerful teamwork at his/her site and with other sites based on trust, accountability, and a common vision.
Ø Build our brand and identity in the local market by fostering long-term partnerships with the community, our employees, customers, and suppliers. Be the “face” of Liberty Tire in the local market.
Ø Passionately lead his/her team through effective coaching, mentoring, and development of employees
Ø In conjunction with the Sales Team, lead the profitable growth of our commercial efforts – inbound tire collections and outbound recycled end products.
Ø Improve cash flow
Ø Read/understand/analyze/manage the income statement and balance sheet and drive all financial aspects of the business.
Ø Drive continuous improvement of operations, logistics, and customer service – quality, service, cost
Ø Lead effective and timely communication with customers, suppliers, corporate, and other Liberty Tire employees.

Ø PL responsibility for a 100+ non-union employee, $10 mm+ manufacturing business
Ø The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of general / plant / sales management experience. Must have strong financial and analytical skills related to budgeting, cash flow analysis, profit/loss and compliant fiscal controls.
Ø Lean manufacturing success a plus.
Ø This position is based in Lockport, NY and will entail the need to travel and work beyond “normal office hours”. Travel requirement at a minimum of 25%.
