Our general managers set clear direction and expectations so every member of their team knows exactly what is
expected of them, and then remove all obstacles or roadblocks to ensure proper execution of our standards, specifications,
and recipes by their team.

The general manager's job is to know what is going to keep their restaurant competitive and their team focused,
and what will motivate each member of their team.

It all starts with the general manager, so they must "walk the talk." They should have fun and role model the
behaviors we expect of our teammates.

Finally, we want the general manager to celebrate their teammate's achievements with them. By doing this, the general
manager will create an environment that thrives on a sense of excellence.

As a Manager you get some great perks

Job Qualifications:

o    At least three (3) years experience as a restaurant/retail management

o    Advanced working knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and control systems

o    Proven track record of passionate customer service – ability to develop team and assistant managers within their store to deliver legendary guest service experiences every day

o    Strong organizational skills

o    Basic computer skills

o    Ability to manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of Boston Market

o    Ability to value change and work in a face paced environment

o    Bachelors Degree preferred

 

Relationships/Contacts:

Interacts daily with external guests as well as working alongside management team and team members. Frequent contact with regional manager, senior regional manager, HR manager, and various field support and support center personnel.

 

1) Withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more, 2) move throughout the restaurant for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours per day), 3) move 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 ft., 4) balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 ft., 5) understand and respond to team members’ and guests’ requests in a loud environment, and 6) perform basic math and understand finances and cost management., 7) Bend, stoop and reach in order to load and spit chicken, stock shelves, serve customers and clean the store.
