Under general direction, the purpose of the position is to develop and implement local policies and procedures, enforce company policies and procedures, company philosophies, and meet company expectations. Colleagues in this classification perform sales and marketing, customer service, and leadership work. Position is responsible for support center reporting, establishes and maintains store budgets, conducts sales and marketing analysis, and manages store personnel. Performs related work as directed.

A typical day for the General Manager would be to open and close the store. The General Manager will monitor each individual retail transactions while also being part of the sales process. This position requires continuous communication from the General manager to the store staff that consistent of insuring the Stanton Optical Transaction process is being executed. Daily the general manager would review walkouts missed opportunities w/the retail staff. The General Manager would be in consistent contact with the lab manager staff to insure all jobs are completed on time while meeting quality standards. The General manager will be required to meet the productivity numbers outlined while maintaining a customer service score of 87 or greater.
