Role
The General Manager Quality Assurance Risk Management role is to develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality and risk management plan and methodology which incorporates the critical review of all major bids and proposals for Network Applications Services. In addition to build the NAS Risk Management Policies and to build and maintain the compliance with these quality system requirements. Liaising with deal, technical solutioning, sales, delivery, legal, finance, pricing and bid management teams, to build a risk management report and review function to provide risk and quality assurance advice to senior management on major transaction and bid types. These risk review procedures will consider but not necessarily be limited to the following risk categories, commercial, delivery, pricing, product maturity, contractual and solution risk categories. Establishing standards of service for customers or clients. Preparing clear explanatory documents such as operational and bid risk registers and, reports and recommendations to senior management. In addition managing the post contract review discipline and reporting.
Key Accountabilities
- Promoting quality achievement and risk management improvement throughout the organization. To ensure that a rigorous risk review process is implemented and adhered to for all major NAS transactions
- Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan and risk register to ensure that Network Applications Services bids conform to the Policies and compliance with quality system requirements. To develop a risk and QA control methodology and benchmark on an ongoing basis with national and international standards and best practice.
- Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply. Defining quality and risk review procedures in conjunction with operating staff. Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
- Liaising with internal customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications. Establishing standards of service for customers or clients. Preparing clear explanatory documents such as customers' charters.
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the internal customers and with the Company's Management team (Member of Management Team).
- Managing a team of Quality Assurance professionals. Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures.
- Provide detailed and independent Risk and Quality review reports for Senior management for all major transactions associated with bids incorporating the NAS offers and portfolios, and the ongoing post implementation reviews to validate delivery and risk management performance against the original sales business case and deal risk profile
- Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.
- Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC.
- Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved. Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.
