GENERAL MANAGER recruitment
Reporting to the Board, you will have full responsibility for achieving financial targets and developing the business and the company to meet the demands of the country’s fast growing economy. We are seeking a dynamic candidate with good strategic and analytical skills.
You should have at least 10 years in Senior Management with a similar financial services operation and be able to present a successful track record during this time.
You should have good inter personal skills at all levels and be able to demonstrate a visionary ability to taking the company forward increasing profitability. Thus innovation and a strong ability to create change in the workforce attitude are essential and an ability to be a good team player.
Key accountabilities include:
- The ability to introduce a strategic plan for the development of the company and its profit effectively execute same in order to achieve company’s objectives
- Oversee the operations and ensure shareholders interests are maintained at all times.
- Ability to maintain a risk aware culture throughout the company and its subsidiaries
- Strong knowledge required on underwriting/risk taking to ensure adequate risk tolerance in self retention and ceding of risks
- Ensure company compliance and a high level of corporate governance is in place at all times
- Continue to develop the organization culture to enhance growth, motivated staff and promotion of good teamwork
