                                             GENERAL MANAGER

1. Operations

Responsible for the organization’s operational excellence to attain growth and operation goals, such as:      

 

• Formulating, developing and implementing strategies, SOPs, KPIs and budgets for the operations for (a) managing costs, (b) improving operational efficiency, (c) implement according to approved budgets, milestones and timelines;

 

• Establishing KPIs and managing the performance of the operations team.

2. Business Development / Sales Marketing

Drive and lead business development and marketing initiatives aimed at growing existing and new opportunities in Singapore and the region. Key responsibilities include:

 

• Developing strategies and budget for sales marketing for (a) market entry and (b) increase in market share; implement according to approved budgets, milestones and timelines;

 

• Revamping marketing collateral, presentations, website and proposals; ensure consistency in branding and market positioning;

 

• Establishing, strengthening and maintaining networking relationships with business partners, government agencies and other stakeholders;

 

• Maximising market penetration and sales for educational books and CD products, both locally and overseas;

 

• Building, managing and retaining a high-performing sales marketing team, including:

Ø developing budget and headcount plan

Ø establishing KPIs,

Ø developing compensation plan

3. New Project Management

• Work with other departments to develop strategies, budget and all relevant documentation, systems, processes and KPIs for launch of new business lines

• Implement above according to approved budgets, milestones and timelines;

 

• Work with existing operations team to oversee new  IT initiative  within the first 6 months.

Key Requirements

1.Degree in business related fields with 8-10 years experience in senior general management role;

2.Successful track record in business development management;

3.A good team player with outstanding analytical, structural and communication skills.

4.Proven ability and capability to lead and grow businesses sustainably.

5.Strive on challenges and results-driven

6.Operations excellence and project implementation

7.Detailed and meticulous in follow through.

8.Ability and Flexibility to work on Saturdays (twice a month) due to the nature of the business.
