General Manager, Strategy

Institutional Banking Markets (IBM) is responsible for the provision of products and services to nearly 3000 major corporate, institutional and government clients. This is achieved through origination, structuring and execution of on and off balance sheet products that are enhanced through the efficient application of taxation, accounting, risk and capital management technologies.

The Strategy and Operations team supports IBM's strategic priorities and encompasses three distinct business units: International Operations (leadership of our offshore operations in the Americas, Europe, Malta and New Zealand, and also execution the offshore growth strategy in these geographies and Asia); Strategy (leading the development of 3-5 year business strategies for the IBM division and individual lines of business plus provision of tactical and strategic business intelligence); and Business Support (PMO, Productivity, Projects, and Business Communications and Events).

Role Purpose:
This key leadership role is responsible for leading the development of global IBM and line of business strategies in the context of the overall Group strategic direction and for providing guidance and support to the IBM LT and leadership to the Strategy team.
