General Manager/Finance Manager

Hays are recruiting on an exclusive basis for a rare general management opportunity - which will be ideal for a talented Qualified Accountant with broader business management and operational experience and/or aspirations. Working for a well established £10 million turnover business, part of a larger group within the food warehousing and distribution industry.

Based in Swansea and reporting to the Board of Directors you will be responsible for the general management of the site, all legal obligations, Human Resources, security, Health Safety, sales, warehousing and distribution, purchasing, finance, staff well being and being the senior point of contact for the business. You will be a key member of the wider General Management team across the group and be highly visible with both customers and suppliers.

Supported by a highly experienced and long serving management team you will provide vision to the company by assisting the board with short and long term objectives and development opportunities. Plus bring commercial and systems development expertise to impact on the longer term growth and development of the business.
