Role Synopsis Baker Hughes, located in Williamsport, PA is currently seeking a Mechanic to work on a flexible work schedule ensuring the operational readiness of equipment and vehicles by performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for Baker Hughes Pressure Pumping. This Mechanic will be reporting to the Lead Mechanic on site. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities * performs all necessary preventive maintenance on Baker Hughes Pressure Pumping equipment * carry out all activities in accordance with the company's Quality Management System * troubleshoot units and identify problem areas * make certain all equipment is functional before mobilization * may drive and operate equipment at job site Basic Qualifications * minimum of a GED required * ability to work efficiently in teams required * ability to communicate effectively in a courteous manner required Desired/Preferred Qualifications * none Other Details * diesel mechanic preferred * trade school or associates degree preferred Company Overview Baker Hughes serves the worldwide oil and natural gas industry with reservoir consulting and products and services for drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production.
