General Practitioner for MOD
Hays Healthcare are working with the MOD to recruit an experienced GP to work for the British Forces in BATUK Kenya on a temporary basis.
Dates: 05.12.2014 – 31.01.2015
Hours: 37.5hrs standard plus on call
As a locum doctor you will be required to carry out normal daily clinics in Nanyuki and Nairobi Medical centers you will also be required to provide out of hours on call capability and expected to work a duty roster with the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) doctor. Duties will include pre-hospital emergency care. Population range from dependants including young children to permanent military and civil service staff.
You must be registered with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the GMC GP register; You must also have medical insurance and be on a PCT Performers List.
Travel cost to and from Kenya will be reimbursed and accommodation provided.
