Temporary, full time short term GP job in Ipswich
GP's required by HAYS for positions in the MOD
Are you a GP that's fed up with the pressures of NHS sessional work? If so why not have a break from it all and try some different work in the Ministry of Defence? Hays are a main contracted provider of locum general practitioners to the MOD. We have a position available at Wattisham flying station Medical centre, near Ipswich which starts in late October and ends in December. It's a temporary locum role but full time at 37 hours per week. Pay is weekly and this steady and stable position makes a bit of a change to NHS work.
The GP will be required to carry out primary health care clinics, Occupational Health assessments and routine medical examinations, for the military staff at the station
GP's must be available for the duration of the position, have current GMC and performers list/CCG registration mandatory training including basic life support and manual handling certification needs to be in place for the start of the position. Other compliance requirements would need to be met. This can be discussed upon application.
