The Location
Toowoomba is the heart of the Darling Downs, providing all of the metropolitan aspects of a city, whilst maintaining the relaxed atmosphere of a regional town. It is ideally situated on the Great Dividing Range, only a short drive to Queensland's Capital City of Brisbane. The Support
Our client has one of the most comprehensive GP support systems in place in this region. With an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager who manages all aspects of the business, you will no longer need to be involved with HR aspects, deal with trivialities and plough through paperwork. Instead, you will have the very best of technology and infrastructure as well as well-trained staff, to allow you to do, what you do best.
The Practice
This privately owned practice boasts state of the art equipment and facilities including new consultation rooms, well equipped Treatment Room, existing GP's and Support Staff, including experienced and supportive Practice Nurses. There is an existing patient base with the opportunity to expand and grow with the organisation. The practice believes in providing support to the GP's in the preparation of:
• Health Care Assessments;
• Asthma Care;
• Diabetic Maintenance;
• Chronic Disease Programs; and
• Child Immunisations.
The General Practitioner
The following qualifications are essential:
• At least 2 years experience in a clinical setting;
• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia;
• FRACGP and/or FACRRM; and/or AMA Member.
The successful applicant needs to demonstrate:
• Superior communication and negotiation skills;
• Exceptional patient care and the willingness to place the needs of the patient first;
• Ability to work within a team, attendance at team meetings and support of team values, whilst maintaining autonomy as a GP; and
• Commitment to contributing to the overall success of the practice by adhering to policies.
