General Practitioner MoD
A Locum General Practitioner preferably with current aviation medicine qualification is required to provide full time support to the SMC at RAF St Mawgan.
The job itself is working for the MoD as a civilian medical practitioner, where you will be required to work in the medical centre on the barracks. You will be responsible for providing first-rate care to service personnel. MO duties include:
• Routine Clinics
• Occupational Medicals
• Review of medical correspondence
• Provide emergency care as required
• Provide medical advice for welfare issues
The normal working hours are Mon-Fri 0800 - 1700
There will be no requirement for out of hours, on call or weekend work as part of this request.
You must be registered with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the GMC GP register; You must also have medical insurance and be on a PCT Performers List.
