Our General Service Technicians will:
- Provide general services for vehicle maintenance and repairs such as:
- Oil changes
- Tire rotations
- Consistently perform the Midas Way Courtesy Check on all vehicles.
- Welcome all customers in a professional manner; courteous and friendly
- Work safely; adhering to both OSHA and environmental standards.
- Work productively and efficiently without taking shortcuts.
- Operate all vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of shop and car bays.
- Stock inventory when necessary.
- Consistently follow all shop policies and procedures.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some or minimal training in the basics of automotive repair; technical degree preferred.
- Constant willingness to build upon skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule having regular, consistent attendance.
- Able to lift 25 lbs, and continuously move around all areas of the shop.
- Displays a friendly, helpful attitude towards all customers.
- Must have and maintain a valid, current driver;s license.
- Ability to work independently, and with a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Honest and acts with integrity.
- Detail-orientated.
- Reliable and punctual.
