Responsibilities  
"Infosys is looking to hire number of Genset development system leads / designers up to 10 years of experience in Fridley, MN. Experience shall cover the system engineering of core engine (diesel, gas) with associated systems like air inlet/exhaust systems, fuel system, cooling system, enclosure, etc. The leads / designers would be working closely with OEMs".

 

• Responsible for design development of genset, diesel engines, gas engines and their s sub-systems.
• Assessment of various sub-systems from the criticality, dependencies global model perspective to identify and lead selected modules.
• Involvement in developing detailed work break down structure, high level schedules, dependencies, resource management, entry exit criteria, risks, etc.
• Support the critical activities with FEA, CFD Acoustic simulations and assessments.
• Work with client to understand the requirements execute the work with global team.
• Participate in clients design review meetings identify areas of improvement.
Skills 
• Experience in design development of genset, diesel engines sub-systems like fuel system, cooling system, enclosure, skid, intake and exhaust system, etc.
• Experience in developing engineering drawings, layouts and GD T.
• Conversant with manufacturing processes of Engine Components and peripheral engine supporting systems.
• Exposure to FEA, Supplier chain development

Qualification 
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
BE/BS/MS/MTECH (Mechanical)

Experience Required ( In Years) 
A Minimum 8 years of experience with listed Responsibilities and skillsets is required for this role
