ConocoPhillips? repositioning is subject to market conditions, customary regulatory approvals, the receipt of an affirmative ruling from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, the execution of separation and intercompany agreements and final board approval. This position will reside within the Real Property Administration organization of the future ConocoPhillips, the upstream company. : The Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Analyst will be involved with and exposed to GIS applications, ArcGIS, ArcServer, SQL, Digitizing hardware/software, projections, GIS data models, data formats, mapping, land descriptions, attribute data sources and formats, and indexing. Candidate must understand data administration data management concepts and must be able to implement these concepts. The GIS Analyst supports and provides leadership, technical competency, analytical and business consulting to the other Property Maintenance (PM) Analysts, customers and Real Property Administration (RPA) Management. Independently leads projects (requirements, design, development, implementation, and training) in an efficient and effective manner to provide value and achieve established objectives within budgetary, policy, regulatory, and legal constraints. Responsibilities may include: Providing consulting and technical support for GIS applications and their tools sets Providing GIS business consulting to RPA management, staff, and business partners Provide guidance and leadership in developing of GIS applications and best practices Creating spatial data for a wide range of business in a timely and accurate manner Researching and resolving inquiries and requests for spatial information Coordinating/leading GIS projects with customers Assessing and adjusting to changing priorities Researching spatial and attribute data issues for GIS applications and requests Providing functional excellence guidance by identifying value adding opportunities to apply GIS technology to everyday business issues Investigating/appraising/settling technical issues related to GIS applications to minimize end-user frustration Cultivating an environment of trust, cooperation and teamwork
